Understanding the vulnerabilities: Generating solutions & Policy Recommendations

Children can be vulnerable because of their dependency on adults to fulfill their basic needs. Being a girl child adds many layers to these vulnerabilities. With the onset of a COVID-19 pandemic, the situation regarding pre-existing vulnerabilities and unmet needs of a girl child has seen to have aggravated. It is high time to spread awareness among communities, parents, and girls about their specific rights and the support available in the context of Covid-19.  

In this regard, Rozan is organizing a webinar “Being a Girl Child during COVID-19”: The focus of the webinar is to create an understanding of the vulnerabilities of a girl child in pandemic and generating discussion on solutions/strategies that can be adopted to reduce this impact.
