#HerCovidStory

This is a story of a psychologist currently practicing in Quetta, Baluchistan. She has participated in 3-days online training conducted by Rozan on “Psychosocial Counseling with a special focus on Gender-Based Violence (GBV)”. She found training very informative and practical as she stated,

‘The training we received on psychosocial support with a special focus on GBV was very informative. This is the first time we attended online training. Initially, we had a lot of questions in our mind that how this online training will be? But it was a good experience.

This training will help me in handling cases especially those with GBV history. Previously while working in the communities when we came across any GBV case we tend to respond with least knowledge.

But after the training, I have a better understanding to deal with GBV survivors especially. With many other techniques, the training has given tips to support them to manage their anxiety. The safety planning that we have learned in the training will also help us further with such cases. The training has given me much information that I can use in my professional life.’
