Women's Program Zeest has developed various material on issues of emotional health and violence against women. The following are details on some of the material:

Ethical Guidelines For Working With Survivors of Violence (Booklet)

The Guidelines for the Protection of Dignity and Rights of Survivors of Violence or code of conduct was developed for service delivery organizations for dealing with survivors of violence. Rozan, through its Zeest program, was instrumental in formalizing the guidelines. The document gives a basic introduction on the need for a code of conduct for working with survivors of violence and a brief history of the process through which the code was developed and a list of the organizations involved. It separately lists the basic principles and guidelines for working with survivors. It also clarifies basic terms such dignity, protection, survivor, and vulnerability.

The Guidelines have also been translated into Urdu and therefore booklets in both English and Urdu are available with the program. Material developed in the context of the guidelines is the following:

  • Guidelines (booklets available in English and Urdu).
  • A flyer to highlight the guidelines
  • A flyer for victims/ survivors of violence
  • A poster for survivors highlighting their rights.
  • A poster for organizations highlighting the rights of survivors and the commitments of endorsing organizations.
  • A two-page brochure explaining Hurmat (working group or network of organizations and service providers responsible for implementation of the code), its rationale and functioning, steps for endorsement and criteria for membership.
