Smart Chart Tool

Smart Chart Trainings for Communications Planning & Implementation

Rozan offers non-profit organizations and institutions, trainings regarding the use of Smart Chart. The “Smart Chart” is an easy to use guide, to planning the communication strategies in a step- by- step manner which takes into account the overall goal and context of the communication as well as the strategic choices, activities and tactics. This tool was developed by a US based organization called Spitfire strategies in 2002. Rozan was trained by Spitfire strategies in 2006 and since then have been conducting similar trainings for organizations in Pakistan.

Why the Smart Chart:

The need to plan interventions that are cost effective, impact the right target audience and help achieve the over all goals of working on behaviour change in the community is a challenge for most of the development organizations. Many organizations share planning the activities and interventions that are well received by people but create little impact on the expected results. By using the Smart Chart, organizations can take strategic decisions about what  change they want to bring,, who they want to work with in order to bring about that change and finally how they want to go about  planning initiatives in light of the  purpose decided.
