An Analysis of 200 Letters from Victims and Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse Print

Contrary to common opinion, child sexual abuse continues to be a practiced crime in Pakistani society. Research suggests that across the globe, the incidence of sexual abuse of children is at least 15-20% [1], and a small-scale research done in Pakistan has also produced similar results [2]. This is further supported by Aangan’s own experience of working in the community with children from diverse groups and backgrounds.
