One of the most important aspects of Aangan's work is to provide support services to children and adults affected by child sexual abuse.

Counseling is offered to:

• Children and adolescents having emotional difficulties
• Children and adolescents that are victims of sexual abuse (abuse is currently ongoing) and survivors (abuse happened previously or in their childhood)
• Women and men who are survivors of child sexual abuse
• Parents/families of sexually abused children
• Parents of emotionally disturbed children
• Child and adult sex offenders

Aangan provides counseling at three basic levels:

1. Counseling through letters/e-mails
2. Telephonic Counseling
3. In-person Counseling

1. Letter/e-mail

Aangan welcomes letters and/or e-mails from children or adults who wish to seek support from trained psychologists regarding their problems particularly child sexual abuse.

2. Telephonic Counseling

Counseling regarding emotional heath issues and child sexual abuse is provided on telephone to children and adults over the counseling lines: (+92 51) 221 5368 and (+92 51) 716 5365, from 9am to 5pm (Monday-Friday)

3. In-person counseling

In-person counseling is provided at the Rozan premises in the in-house counseling room taking full care of confidentiality and privacy. Counseling is done in the form of weekly 45 minutes sessions with the client. The number and frequency of the sessions also depends on the client's feasibility and the severity of the problem. Service is provided from 9am to 5pm (Monday-Friday)

Charges: Rs.300/- per session but the fee is also kept on a sliding scale
