Training Workshops of Mentoring Process Print

The training workshops in the mentoring process have been divided into 3 parts:

  • 3 day workshop on Self Awareness and Life Skills
  • 3 day workshop on Gender and Violence against Women and Children
  • 4 day workshop on Advance Level, including one component of short projects that focus on police-community collaboration and are planned by the participants

The trainings are provided to the police through experiential exercises/sessions that give them a chance to express their views and practice skills on issues of gender and violence against women and children. Moreover, the purpose of developing small police- community cooperation projects is to minimize the gap between the police and the community.

So far, two mentoring batches have passed through Rozan's training program. A third session is currently being conducted, while a fourth batch will be selected in July 2006.
