Developing and disseminating IEC material and publications Raising awareness on various issues of emotional health and gender, as well as violence against women and children is one of Rozan's major activities. Rozan believes that providing facts and disseminating information on these important issues in a culturally sensitive way is a powerful tool for the empowerment of a society. With this in mind, Rozan continues to seek innovative and more effective ways to deal with the difficult and sensitive issues and raise awareness through production and dissemination of IEC material. For a complete list of publications, visit each program's publication page: Coordinating with the media Media is regarded as an important stakeholder in creating mass level awareness on social issues. Munsalik networks and coordinates with both the print and the electronic media so that events and activities regarding social issues are highlighted. It also contributes issue based articles for the various magazines & newspapers and participates in Radio & TV talk shows on issues related to gender, Violence Against Women (VAW), Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), and young people's Reproductive Health (RH) Representing the organization at various networks No organization can claim to possess the capacity to bring about changes in society independently, without liaising and collaborating with other bodies and networks. Equally important is the need to learn from partner organizations, complement each other with expertise in specific areas, and work along with each other in the form of a movement. Rozan therefore fully realizes the importance of partnership, not only with likeminded NGOs and INGOs, but also with government institution, to pursue its development program. Currently, Rozan is part of several civil society networks, as well as government alliances, and contributes collectively towards the shared goals of the society. Rozan is a member of the following networks: (under construction) Organizing fundraisers Management Sustainability can be a daunting challenge for any organization. It involves trying to balance a diverse set of program activities. To increase our level of sustainability and to reduce the dependency on donors, we conduct fundraisers from time to time. It helps us to generate income and build our endowment fund. Besides, we also believe that liaisons must be built with other civil society and corporate organizations to achieve our goals. Rozan's 2006 fundraiser was a Shaam-i-Faiz (evening of Faiz) with the legendary Tina Sani.
In June 2004, we organized a musical concert entitled Songs of Emotions, in which renowned ghazal singer Nayyara Noor weaved magic. Sponsored by a leading bank of Pakistan, Askari Commercial Bank, the concert was a huge success as a large number of people from all walks of life attended and appreciated it.
In 2002 Askari bank was kind enough to sponsor our Youth Helpline fundraising concert with Junoon, a concert that was attended by more than 4,000 young people. In 2000 we invted invited the renowned ghazal singer Tina Sani for a highly appreciated concert.
